Carl Jorgensen
Partner – Chartered Accountant
Carl joined his father in business in 1983 at what was then ‘Jacques, Cox and Jorgensen’ in Nelson. At about that time the firm changed its name to ‘Jorgensen and Co’. He is responsible for caring for the needs of his clients as well as the smooth running of the firm, ensuring that all Partners and staff work to the highest standards in providing first class client service.
In his 26 years with Jorgensen’s, Carl has acquired an extensive range of skills and experience which allows him to continue to provide the highest level of service for his clients.

Owen Feary – Partner
Accountant
Owen joined Jorgensen’s in 1983 as a clerk and was made a partner in the firm in 1983. He has a wonderful down to earth personality and consequently has an excellent rapport with his clients providing them with focused, quality service. Owen is also responsible for making sure that the firm operates smoothly and that staff service is upheld.

Roger Cole
Associate – JP, B Com, CA, MNZIM
Roger joined the firm in 2006. He brings with him to the firm a wealth of experience as a Chartered Accountant and a Justice of the Peace. Roger’s work history runs through 9 years in Public Accounting, 7 years in a listed company, a short time in the motor trade, 18 years in Local Government, and the last 10 years back in Public Accounting.

Joy Corpuz
Auditor
Joy has been with Jorgensen’s since 2008 and is a huge asset to the firm. Having emigrated from the Philippines, she brings five years previous experience in auditing with her.

Karen Fitzgerald
Accountant
Karen started working at Jorgensen’s in 2008 and now works as an accountant for Carl and Owen. She has a double degree in Professional Accounting and Management and is also a great asset to the firm.

Helen Bennett
Office Administration
Helen began working at Jorgensen’s in 1983 and is one of the founding employees of the company. She maintains the structured performance of the office as a whole and is a crucial component of the company.

Elizabeth Kendrick
Office Administration, Level 3 Office Admin and Computer Studies.
Elizabeth has been working with the Jorgensen team since 2005 having achieved her qualification through Nelson Polytechnic. She ensures the efficient flow of tax management tasks as well as maintaining the smooth functioning of the business.

Olivia Jorgensen
Office Administration, Level 4 Office Admin and Computer Studies.
Olivia joined the team in 2007 and continues her studies at Nelson Polytechnic. She is a vital support for the other administration workers.

Jenny Wu
Accountant
Jenny Joined the firm in July 2009 having emigrated from China in 2006 as an international student. She achieved her B Com in Management and Accounting from Nelson Polytechnic in June 2009.
